    I know of 1 L series with over 250000 on the clock and still running fine, my father in laws 2002 TD4 just passed 230000 first VCU change 169000 Injectors and turbo changed 156000 clutch at 200000 has never let him down. Unlike his 2000 110 county thats allways letting him down

    sounds like a turbo pipe fooked when you find which one replace with silicon . there is allways a film of oil in the turbo pipes so it could be just a loose clip. on the worst side it could be the first warning that turbo seals are on there way out. If it suddenly starts to rev its balls off...
