Good evening all. So my new project is a 1983 RRC 2 door and i am slowly sourcing parts, Next on the list a R380 gearbox. Am i right in saying that an easy way to tell them apart from a LT77 in photos is the the R380 does not have a thread on the end of the output shaft? Cheers Landy Lee

Was flushed out 14,000 miles ago when i did the full rebuild.

Cruising at 60mph 420 ish then foot to floor up motorway hills 600 ish. Landy weighs 2900kg

Cheers for the input guys! I is the double core intercooler i am after and from people i have spoken to that have them i feel its the way to go. Some people are seeing a 170c drop in EGT after fitting!

Nice! Looks like i am on a similar tuning path as yourself. I am on the back order list for the forby inlet. Did you monitor you EGT's as you have been tuning? i hear that the intercooler really lowers it.

Morning mate. I will also be fitting a VVT or VNT turbo to but at a later date but intercooler first. Interesting what you say about the FIP. I also plan that to soon. How many miles on the FIP and what VVT did you go for? Cheers Landy-Lee

It was turned off by a LR specialist with a plug in computer. Im wondering if it is something else but there no lights on the dash??? Hummmmmm

Good morning all I have have the suspension light turned off now that my disco is on springs but the buzzer is still going off? Where is the buzzer so i can disconnect or can i simply pull a fuse? Cheers Landy Lee

Good morning all. Just brought a disco 2 with a suspension fault on it but im sure its a easy fix and i got the truck at a bargain price! It has springs fitted and it beeps until i go over 20mph. How do i disable this?

Hi guys i hope you are all well? In this months LRO mag there is a buyers guide on Defenders and in the review for the Td5 is says that the gearbox and trans box were upgraded to handle the extra power. Any ideas on what upgrades were done? Cheers Landy Lee
