Pretty sure those units are sealed, so I suspect one of the pipe unions must be leaking. That is the brake bias valve Kev and it's fixed to the bulkhead. The bell housing is the round, flared out end of the gearbox that bolts on to the back of the engine block.

Are you sure it's the brake bias valve that's leaking Mick? It should be mounted on the bulkhead, below and slightly to the right of the brake servo. A leak from the bell housing could be the slave cylinder leaking.

Agree about the steering box mate, but that's very different to the body not being secured to the chassis properly.

I think I've used my second fob before and then the other one has worked. I've also done the ignition key and door technique to get the code sorted. I've got the instructions in my handbook, but I suspect neither of those things are any use to you :(

Hmmm, I think they can lose synchronicity somehow when the battery goes low. I've had this happen to me when I've changed the battery, but I can't remember what I did to get it working again. :rolleyes: I'll have a think! Do you have both fobs?

As Steve has identified it sounds like your slave cylinder has been fitted upside down. It'll be virtually impossible to bleed upside down. Don't pull it all of the way out when you rotate it as this helps prevent the push rod being pulled out of the fork.

That's the longer half shaft too, so a little more awkward to line up as longer means heavier at the far end. As has been said, you need to lever it up to get the shaft lined up with the centre of the diff and rotate it so the splines line up and it slides in.

It would be very difficult to judge. Your gauge has a full scale deflection of 30psi. A basic, cheap compressor is going to deliver 120psi+ So you could almost instantly over pressurise the transducer unit.
