As has been said I'd check the battery is fully charged first. You could check the connection to the stop solenoid is good electrically and check you're getting 12v from the cable. If so crack a fuel pipe joint to an injector, turn it a couple of times and see if there is any fuel visible. I...

On the back of your fuel injection pump. There's a small black wire going to it with a spade connector fitting. Tricky to see, easier to follow the wire.

I think they're good chassis, but after my issue I read of others with similar dimension differences. It sounds like you're in a good position to check one, so jobs a goodun!

Another vote for doing it yourself. I did and it was a great experience. I used Richard's and the nearside tubular outrigger was 15mm out. ie distance between that outrigger and lugs on rear cross member for tub bolting was 15mm too short. Take some main dimensions off your old chassis before...

Epic. :cool: I'd be very interested to hear how the heater works when you get it back on the road. What thoughts have you had about pulling more heat out of the engine? Any thoughts about it affecting it's operating temperature? I've no idea, it's just got me thinking :)
