**update** sorry I know it's been a while as I've managed to find an M51 engine with very low miles but a cracked block I have decided to change over as many parts as possible, last night I managed the timing chains, sprockets and tensioners, my old ones from my 170k+ engine were very worn...

and if it has count yourself lucky the piston didn't meet the valve! I'd start with the FIP you suspected it before the head gasket, so why would it still not be knackered?

Not many garages these days seem to know what they are doing, most are only happy changing old for new parts and don’t want to know why it failed or how to repair

I have bought 3 of these kits now and they arrive in 3 working days and are genuine Bosch parts no affiliation with the seller, just speaking from experience

I called a few in MCR and the 2 seals cost more than this kit on eBay:jaw:
