Does it have/need an “exciter” wire to start it charging like a standard alternator?

It could be old fuel, modern petrol goes stale very quickly these days, probably quite badly deteriorated after six months

Should have relocated the indicator switch… 😂

Personally I only flush engine if fluids have contaminated each other, as in head gasket , wet liner damage, oil cooler damage etc, otherwise with modern oil and regular servicing I don’t think it’s necessary. Just my opinion.

Inlet manifolds do crack

If your dash lights go out when cranking, your battery could be below par, therefore not giving enough current to operate stop solenoid, or your starter might be taking too much current, which will have same effect, try a jumpstart and see if that helps it start

If you had it from new, speak with lr customer service, also your dealer. If you purchased s/h, I’m surprised you don’t have a longer warranty. Plenty of calm conversations, and polite emails you need to have for 2-3 weeks
