Stanley your correct its a lot easier to replace than patch, I agree it's a pain to take the tank out when I did mine the tank was full. but a local garage gave me a new empty 200ltr steel drum, so I managed to save 95% of a full tank of fuel, the removal I did in 3 bits rear cross member them...

When I did my rear brake pipes I had to cut the pipe to get it across to the driver side rear but used an in line brake pipe joiner, double ended female coupler, also I did not measure the pipe I installed it over long the used a insitu brake pipe feral tool to finish off and make the connections

Disco 2 Chassis crack near steering box

Its difficult to see its exact location , but as excoded welder /fab welder I would say it repairable, and I would probably chop out the rot and put in an insert, not plate over it as you can see whats going on under a plate, using 3mm plate and a section of 3mm pipe to get the radius corner

    Heater issues

in the hope you dont allow air to bypass the nipple threads on the two bleed nipples you need to have open to do the job, every time you lift your foot off the pedle, IMHO not a good practice

    Heater issues

At the risk of putting air in your brakes system, not a good idea, as it was my clutch pipe that wad leaking I replaced it with a flexi pipe from https://www.pioneer4x4.com/brand/land-rover-discovery-2/ then you can sit in the drivers seat and bleed your slave cylinder as shown in the photo...

the Ram is a double acting hydrulic piston if any one has an old one it needs taking apart and measuring as Im sure there will be a stockist that can supply a rebuild kit if you know the sizes, as well as who made them as I cant find amanutactures name for who supplyed them

Disco 2 ACE Actuators no longer available!?! Servicable?

Island 4x4 have them listed but they are not cheap, I think if its just a leak it worth looking for replacement seals, or remove and install the Non ACE replacement kit https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/actuator-system-genuine-rqk100000lr-p-36944.html this ones cheaper...
