Sorry mate your buggered - you can only get the DVLA to reclassify the 110 to an estate if it was an estate when it left the factory. Although from October I won't be living in London (moving out towards Guildford) I'm still trying to get the DVLA to change it to estate in case I get done...

Think you might have got that the wrong way around - Shoguns came with locking diffs as standard whereas Pajeros don't. IIRC Shoguns are built in either Britain or Japan whereas the Pajeros are built in other countries in the world (Cyprus I think).

If only that were the case - they've (recently?) stopped taking on standard 110 station wagons. Tried to get a quote off them a few days ago and they can't insure anything with more than 8 seats - so that's every 110 station wagon before the TDci they're excluding :mad:

I just had the same - can't insure an 9 seater but can insure a 10. NFU were suprisingly helpful but just not competitive for my age. I spoke to them about the mods (raised intake and winch / winch bumper) and she knew what they were. Couldn't find them on the system so confirmed they didn't...

At current prices? Was on empty a couple of weeks ago (lowest I've had it since owning it) and filled up at a reasonable price (138.9 p/l I think) and was just under £100. It's got a 65L tank as standard so you can do the maths (probably another litre or three in the pipes). In terms of miles...
