Use soapy spray to check for leaks, otherwise a block refurb as it could be a worn out / leaky bit in the EAS block. Mine took 4 hours the other day, but I hadn't had to do one for 5 years, so I was slow.
Hello all,
I finally have time on my hands again. I have sad and good news. Sad news (if anyone didn't know) is that Dave3d passed away, and I bought his P38 from his lovely wife. The EAS block now refurbished, compressor to follow once the parts arrive (hopefully today). It has the Arnott bags...
Ahhhhh but then that means you *can* grow your own food. That doesn't fit into the "all food must be imported" Govt agenda's whilst publicly stating "We need food security". Both things can't be true, just as there is no clean end of a ****. But politicians would have us believe it is possible...
If you change it to "iRange Rover" you've bagged it. A whole different set of label chasers who are happy to pay uber premiums for anything saying "i" in the name :D
Happy Easter all,
Sorry I've been quiet but work has got in the way again. Since the below has happened it's been parked up. It will be a museum fuel tank soon as the fuel was £1.02 a litre when it was filled up :D:D:D
It started on a drive back from Warwick a few weeks ago, around 120 mile...
Nope, not illegal at all. I think there is a rule on so many thousand litres of the stuff to be used without paying / declaring duty. I'm sure it works out at 12,000miles a year equivalent. I did 12,000 and a little bit miles in one year in mine when the HP o ring finally let go. Very messy and...
I can definitely vouch that cheap glow plugs are crap and make a hard start. I changed for Bosch and almost immediate fire up on first turn of the key.
Only 90 minutes from my other house. Napoleon's decree last year put a 1 year block between myself and HQ2, now we have to see what stupidity will come from "Now you need jab 3 / 4 / 5 / 6....."
It is indeed. But I have learned the hard way, only one VOR on the drive at any one time or my life isn't worth living :D Re-timing is in the queue Keith - weather dependant for us driveway mechanics :)
Firstly big thanks to Mark for letting me abuse him again. It was fun. That's all I'm saying
Oh and helping me bleed the brakes, swap the pads, rotate the wheels and fit my new Terrafirma shocks. No complaints from SWMBO on the ride quality being worse, she says it feels much better now...
