I am looking at changing the air springs on my diesel and was look at Island for a cost. Anyhow the Dunlop springs sell at £45 each but the set of 4 is selling at £187.49. Is there any reason for this (additional bits included etc.) or just Island taking the mick? Also is Island the best...

Now not sure what the problem is. Thought it was a leak as back was going down to bump stops. Ran it earlier and back end didn't move when left at highest setting. Haven't changed sensor so not sure if that's causing the problem.

Hi Jules how did you get on with your transfer box? All done I hope. Anyhow mine has suddenly developed a bad leak in an airbag. They do look worn though, I seem to remember that you said you changed yours and had to do a bit of fettling to get them to fit. Also how long do you think it will...

    P38A Tow bar options/recommendations wanted.

I looked at this problem, when choosing a bike rack. There is a flange fitting swan neck (do not know if this is the correct phrase) but I cannot find it now. I think it was in the region of 160 notes. Anyhow what about modifying a Thule 9708 bike rack, it connects to the tow ball of the tow...

    P38A Flickering Oil Pressure Light

On the way to work yesterday the oil pressure light kept flickering. Pulled over and checked oil level. The oil level was fine so changed to a clean set of undies. Engine sounds normal, even on start up, but problem is still persisting today. What are the checks I need to do and what order do...

    P38A Autobiography Interior Pieces.

The picnic tables are in the accessories fitting guide on Rave. I have wondered what is the rarest of these accessories. The gun box or the table that lives in the spare wheel well.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Spent 2 hours just replacing the towing socket, nothing is ever easy with me! Ended up lying in the street with a torch trying to get it done. One of the screws for one of the wires had corroded so had to cut it back and then cut all the other wires back so it would all firmly fit. Then the...

P38A EAS compressor rebuild and height sensor problems

I have finally found some time to get round to stripping the compressor. Only problem I have is that cannot remove the piston. The grub screw is completely out of the counter weight but the piston in not moving from the spline at all. I have tried to gently pry it away but with no joy as it is...

    P38A Disabling rear wiper

If the wipers are running and I put the car into reverse, the wiper will automatically operate and be caught on the bike rack. I thought Nanocom would be an elegant idea but think the fuse solution is the best option.

    P38A Disabling rear wiper

I have been asked by the kids if they can take their bikes with them on their hols. We already have a bike rack that fits onto the back of the car but have never used it on the Rangie. How do I disable the rear wiper with Nanocom, I have had a trawl through the screens and cannot see where it...
