D1 is easier to maintain and they all have central diff lock. No ECU to drown and so on. But finding a good one is not easy. To keep D2 body rust at bay make sure there is none, and treat with dynax s50 or similar. If rust is there i use wire brushes, fertan then dynax. Treat the sills.

That stuff just causes soft seals to swell and stop leaks. There are no such seals on the ACE system that i know of as its high pressure. The valve block uses the horrible plastic inserts. Id pull that block, strip it, tap it for hydraulic fittings and flush the whole system out. Then hope...

Its a shame originals are crazy money, so you just have to go oem. They are around £100, the £50 ish hubs are not worth bothering over.

Vibration on mine was cured after an oil change. So it was either the centrifugal filter or fully synthetic oil. What maf did you fit? Is it a 15p? Map been cleaned? Have you checked boost hoses for leaks? Fuel pump noisy? Id replace a leaking IC. What size tyres is it on?
