Instead of a 200mm lintel, can you not get away with using a pair of 150mm timbers bolted together..? Also, instead of the parapet wall design, could you not have the gutter on another side of the building, or go for an internal outlet..? Just a couple of thoughts, without seeing the plans..

I have the same problem on mine. You might need to replace the sirens that are behind the grill, but I seem to remember they have a nut on the front that adjusts the sound, so have a nosey n see if a bit of adjustment will bring the sound back..

I am nearby, but i still ain't got me landy back on the road yet..
