    Britpart Lynx Evo Diagnostics App?

There's no guarantee that this won't be using malware either. Let's wait on Google getting back to Britpart before we jump ship; this is, I suspect, the best way to avoid being hit by more malware.

    Britpart Lynx Evo Diagnostics App?

Update: Got this from Britpart earlier: More when I get it.

    Britpart Lynx Evo Diagnostics App?

Wow, that was fast. OK; I have a reply from Britpart on this. It's not what I was hoping for, but it's a start; I'll update as and when I know more: I have replied as follows: I'll update this as it develops (or not).

    Britpart Lynx Evo Diagnostics App?

I sent the following email to Britpart today, having spend a thoroughly unproductive twenty minutes waiting to get a reply on their help line. It's received an auto-reply, noting my email as "Ticket #920". I'll update this if and when I receive a reply.

    Britpart Lynx Evo Diagnostics App?

Something bloody odd just happened. I got a pop-up warning through Google Play declaring: "Lynx Evo This app tries to use your device to commit advertising fraud"? Screenshot from my phone is shown below. The app is still on my phone, but it is missing from my list of apps on google play...

Disco 2 Photos or plans of dashboard panelling?

I'm working on a dash-top box for my D2Td5, to hold such things as switches, USB sockets, and a two-way radio mounting, to be fixed in place over the centre console on the dashboard, fixing through the dash somehow. While there are a couple of commercial offerings available (Mud Stuff and...

    Travelling to France

All good to know - especially the mechanical side of things, even though we were in Normandy, which is a bit of a trek from the Poitiers area, last week ;) In the event, the Peage tag seemed to work as intended, and we suffered no issues for the other two using coinage (even if I beat them...

    Travelling to France

Heh. Dunno about sexy, I'm a tad overweight, but they certainly appreciate the effort, that's true :D

    Travelling to France

No idea either, but it's less than a fiver, so I got one as a belt and braces (I'm there now!). Peace of mind, don't appear to have needed it thus far, but it's for the life of the wagon, so future proofs me for subsequent visits ;)

    Travelling to France

Bump. Me and a couple of mates will be in Normandy at the beginning of June; I note on the sanef uk website that there's some kind of air quality sticker needed ("Crit’ Air")? Since I don't speak much French (apart from "Une bière s'il vous plait"!), so any advice on this would be helpful...

Disco 2 D2TD5; upper left rear light cluster, position light failure

That's the other side of the coin, too, of course. I'm inclined to agree, not just as it's the path of least resistance. I'm going to go with that course, keeping a keen weather eye on the lights, just in case, though. If it happens again, then I'll be tracing the cause. The plan for this year...

Disco 2 D2TD5; upper left rear light cluster, position light failure

Agreed; it's going to have to wait until I have a complete day to devote to it, though, just in case it does take all day. I'm not nearly as flexible as I once was, to be able to get at awkward and hard to reach places (such as the headers in the wiring path) ;):D

Disco 2 D2TD5; upper left rear light cluster, position light failure

Neither did I until the other day ;)o_O

Disco 2 D2TD5; upper left rear light cluster, position light failure

Forgot to mention. Both front side and marker lights are working; no idea what caused the fuse to blow, but I'll be keeping an eye on things. Thanks for the help and advice, all :D

Disco 2 Has anyone got the Electrical Library First Edition in PDF?

Not a dilemma per se, just wondering that if that's wrong for my 2000 D2Td5 wagon, what else is incorrect in there, that may be important down the line?

Disco 2 Has anyone got the Electrical Library First Edition in PDF?

Here's an odd one. Following the fun and games I had with my lights, it transpires that the Third edition of the Discovery 2 Electrical Library seems to cater for the post facelift wagons from 2003 or so onwards; likewise, the second edition seems to do the same. Have a look at the...

Disco 2 D2TD5; upper left rear light cluster, position light failure

Could be; I'll have a good look, probably tomorrow :) Thanks for the heads up :)
