I find your view hard to understand, mine is warm, dry and comfortable and in the 10 years I have had it, has proved ultra reliable, only failing to get me home twice, your Freeloader would have been destroyed by now and no doubt have let me down more often

A better bet, in my opinion, would be to pick up some series doors second hand, looking only at the condition of the door bottoms and buy Rocky Mountain replacement door tops. Also, the tracks are rubber and with addition of a little silicon grease spray, slide with ease.

I don't have any and note I was not citing those 2cvs as being good off road but merely to demonstrate that independent suspension need not be limited in axle travel. You have yet to produce any convincing argument why independent suspension is always worse than a beam axle

Does anyone happen to know if defender and series lock barrels are interchangeable and if it is possible to get a two prong diesel filler cap with a changeable barrel and if either form of door barrel would fit it thanks
