it just screws out - oil goes up to the level of the bolt.

I think it's meant to take a 1/2 inch drive. need to dig the crud out a bit....

So sell one with decent tyres and diffs...... My concern is that the basic model won't be basic at all. I don't need a canbus to tell the indicators to flash or wave my foot by the exhaust to open the boot. Standards may have risen but cheap and utilitarian will still sell.

do the bolts need persuasion with a mallet to line up?

fitted a boost pressure gauge - initial results don't look good for the old turbo.

New reverse switch fitted and re-spliced the reverse circuit back into the brake circuit behind the fuse block. And the reverse light now works!!!

fitted a snow cowl to the air intake on the hottest day of the year - just for the irony

as long as you don't use large quantities you're fine. look it up.

or depending on your vehicle you could go using some of the vegetable oil you talk about. even straight out of Morrison's it's a pound a liter now.

still can't find why the brake light fuse keeps blowing. Something going on with the reverse switch most likely candidate now. Fuse box rewired to isolate reverse light circuit, I'll have to mend it proper like when I get a new switch.
