Help with urgent question regarding air suspension

I would check doors also - remeber on the disco 3 being worried - then realised a passenger door wasnt shut properly. If you are not laden up in the rear it should be fine. I would do a few little test drives - maybe try hard acceleration (do you hear a scraping) so some weaving (is it as easy...

    My Defender 300Tdi

Ok, so mini update. Didn't get all the jobs done that were needed - 2 staff unexpectedly out, so if you are in on mates rates, your work is the first to get dumped, which I understand. However, the bonnet release cable was replaced - so i can actually open the bonnet now! The light switch for...

Diesel Cabin heater, Dynamat / anything to make it warm!

Some good ideas here. The previous owner up rated the radiator so it runs a bit cooler anyway. However I wouldn't mind something extra if we can't get that working.

Diesel Cabin heater, Dynamat / anything to make it warm!

thanks - i like the idea of spending no money to keep warm. There is warmish air coming from the engine. Engine sits just below half way all the time - so seems to be warming up. I did read that having one of those grill covers keeps the engine bay warmer in winter. How does one 'set up' a...

Diesel Cabin heater, Dynamat / anything to make it warm!

thanks all - it will be a money pit anyway - so not willing to spend a grand on a heater - so another option needed. Its not a van body - CSW. Thanks for the tips re the matting - i think camping mats would be a bit cheap! I was thinking more B&Q house based products that will keep it warmer...

Diesel Cabin heater, Dynamat / anything to make it warm!

Hi all, Having had the defender a month or 2, and being a little bored of scraping ice off the inside of the window and wrapping up like an eskimo i would like to take some steps to ensure i don't have to freeze again next winter. There are 3 prongs to my plan. Prong one - retrofit heated...

    My Defender 300Tdi

Hi all, new member here. Brief bit about me and then to the car. Been into cars for about 10 years - Spent a lot of time in the Japanese car scene (hondas) but i suppose i grew out of it. Had a discovery 3 for a while (loved and hated it) and always wanted a Defender. Got my 110 300 Tdi a bit by...

Hello from Kent - New Defender owner

Hi there everyone - long time lurker but new member. I purchased myself a nice defender about a month ago now, a 300Tdi 110 CSW. Milage was higher than i wanted but it was within budget, had stacks of history and seemed in good nick. Lots of work had been done, including the doors etc. I had...
