Or chop my legs so they are shorter........hole in the roof wouldnt help as the windscreen still too low. Maybe drive without a seat and buy lots of pile cream.
Hi guys,
I'm six feet tall and struggle with the height of the series windscreen. I have to duck to see under the top on normal series 'deluxe' seats. Has anyone found a way round this problem but still retaining a series windscreen?

Done a full search of all docs and policies and cant find anything relating to it. So i'm playing the game of asking him to clarify exactly what it is I've breached. Starting to get humorous with how bad they are.....except i pay the local council tax!
So an update....Planner has replied and said that i have 'unauthorised change of use of the land for the storage of vehicles'. So despite asking he's not referenced the planning rule or docs specifically...so i've asked again. I can only guess that he thinks ive changed the land use from C4...
Thanks....defo being polite and i have asked in writing under what regs i need planning permission. All vehicles owned by me and sorned where necessary....i do work on them but i never work on anyone elses vehicles....noone would be stupid enough to pay for my rank amateur mechanical skills. I...
Yeah, very heavy handed.....its not so much a legal position they have put forward.....more a point of view. TBH i think when i email hopefully the issue will go away. Fingers crossed. Planning officer stated the letter was more of a warning to get us talking (didnt even know he's been round!!)...
Cheers guys. I spoke to the planning office and they gave me planning refs i need to lookup. Letter was very poor and non specific so think they have buggered up. Defo a neighbour complaining....not the most friendly bunch and expect me to live how they do. Planning officer asked me to write him...
Guys, looking for some advice on this weird one.
So i have 5 landrovers in total and a horsebox parked at my house i own. I've just had a letter from the local authority saying i have breached planning rules by storing vehicles long term. has anyone had this before as i cant find anything...
I'm with Mike on this one......only 'upgrade' in mine is a DAB radio....and even that only works 50% of the time. Carpets get very annoying in the summer (its a CSW so already fitted). Have a volvo XC90 for warm, dry, posh and easy and i always go for the fender first.
Thanks guys.....i know of a series 1 station wagon lwb years ago that was an auto. The ZF with 300 tdi in my 110 is ok if a bit slow...will check how far forward it is compared to the bullkhead to see how far forward it comes.
