Announcing the wonderful LandyZone Full Member Subscription and stuff

S'like when the Cali cartel were going to get the whole US hooked on free coke and then start charging for it. OK. I'm hooked.

With WFH it will probably be completed just in time for it no longer to be needed.

P38A Range Rover *GONE* 1995 P38 DSE - Expressions of interest

I'm afraid that it has gone to another member because of the insurance cost of two vehicles street parked in London. I'll let him know of your interest.

P38A Range Rover *GONE* 1995 P38 DSE - Expressions of interest

I'll update this over the next few days. 160+something miles. MOT to next June. Starts - with a bit of effort. Probably suit a buyer who wants something usable for 6 months or so before he or she makes one out of two. Green. The bits that you can see. It's usually parked under a tree so let...

    MOT - It's a game

So would I in Cornwall, but not due to the abundance of sunshine, more due to the drizzle and rain.

    MOT - It's a game

By regulation or company policy, my local type place wouldn't do a puncture repair on a tyre due to its age. Think he said 7 years but I'm not sure. Bring back inner tubes. That's what I say.

    MOT - It's a game

I think that we'd all agree that cars with dangerous faults should fail. There does seem to be some sense in getting tested at a place that doesn't sell parts or do the labour. Also, despite the mixed reputation of P38s, they are basically strong vehicles built on a proper chassis (yes @Hippo...

    MOT - It's a game

Through again today with a couple of advisories. One number plate light out. Nail in tyre. Brake pad wear. Bumper mount corroded. Pretty good for a 24 year old motor. I'm with Trump on Khan. One more and it has to go (maybe two - have to read up).

12 years in December. The heating has never been that wonderful but it does mainly short journeys. Fine on a long run.

Maybe time running would be a more useful figure than distance. At the time of day that I do the run it can be 15 minutes.

Nevertheless I think that is going to have to be done. I got the lad to give me a Nanocom commentary. Up to 58, then a drop back to 53, followed by a slow climb to 75ish. My view is that the stat is opening at too low a temp.

    P38A Thermostat 2.5 DSE

Aha! So you're not dissing my logic entirely. I suppose that I could check the existing one and see what temp it is opening at but, to be honest, with the vast expense of a new one, I might as well replace it with new known to open at 80C one. From earlier posts it seems to be more of a faff...
