    Electrical issues in defenders are usually earths. could be old wiring that’s chaffed through making the electricity take a different route. Run a temporary earth directly from the battery -ve to the engine block and see if that improves things. A jump lead will suffice. If it does the. It’s...

    I have one in my CH-R and have done for 3 almost 3 years now. It’s a hybrid and I fitted it with one of those fused power take off you can plug into a fusebox. why you would pay halfords for fitting of anything is beyond me lol
