Find a friendly local old skool garage and ask them if they can inspect it and wrote you a letter on headed note paper. That’s what I had to do. receipt for the engine the guy I bought it from did me a receipt on Microsoft word which the DVLA accepted - could you *make* a receipt? Mine was a...

Series 3 2.25 diesel - running temp with snapped fan belt

At the sender only though? I would still be wary that the water wouldn’t be moving anything like when it’s pumped and you could get localised hotspots that may not register on the sender and gauge

Ex MOD 109 (63-KC-88) now in South Australia

Tbh any of those things could have been done post service life, it’s been out 25 years which is ample time for previous owners to paint it. It could have been used by a company that painted it in their yellow livery. It could have been painted tan just because the owner liked it. The roll bar...

P38 Tow bar - my experience

That looks like a clevis pin setup to me. Not sure I would use that on a tow bar setup to be honest. I doubt it will have the same strength as an 8.8 bolt etc.

    Series 3 Historic status

technically you should be on a 1985 appropriate plate (B) reg and you can change that with the DVLA if you have proof of the build date. for example mine was built in 1991 and first registered in 2013, I got a H plate which is appropriate for 1991 rather than a later plate. I would update the...
