    Small Electrical Fire

Have had a look, finally, at the damage and it appears to just be the sidelights line (red (well double red), its melted at the fusebox and at the switch/harness connector. Does this double red line go direct from the switch to the fusebox or does it go via the dash illumination aswell? In...

    Small Electrical Fire

Have got driving spots fitted but they are through a relay and on their won separate supply to headlights and connected into the main beam only (they weren't on when this happened) Strange behaviour you say? The dashlights were flashing in sync with the hazards when I reconnected the battery...

    Small Electrical Fire

Had myself a small electrical fire this morning, thankfully got the battery +ve terminal off before any flames started. Safe to say I was touching cloth after.. Low fuel light nightmare

Watching, I have the same issue but just put it down to the fuel swishing about in the tank... it would seem, this is not the case.

    Earth issue

Aye, those 3 that are coming off are for the earth point for that part of the engine bay, the point they go to is the earth point for your lights, what comes out of the harness to that connector should essentially be a line that goes back to the those 3 that go to earth point. It still sounds...

    Earth issue

Is there one of the connections on that block the earth lead that goes to the chassis/earth point/not one of the light earths? If it is, are all the light earths connected at one end of the connector and the earth lead that goes off to the chassis or where ever connected into the opposite end...

    Earth issue

    Earth issue

Had this same issue (though not with LEDs), it turned out to be one of the Earth cables on the affected side for either the head light, sides or indicators (can't remember exactly which one, sorry) but the earth cable had snapped. It turned out to be I had reattached it at the wrong point of the...

    Mismatched Exhuast Ends/Brackets

On further inspection the mid section olive is pretty much rotted off so rather than carry on with a lot of faffing about for the sake of a bodge I'm just going to replace the the mid and rear section, will only have to do it later anyway...

What have you done to your Landie today.

    Mismatched Exhuast Ends/Brackets

So the clamp I ordered was too small... but it looks like a viable fix if I get a bigger one and smear the whole think in Fire Gum :D, just have to wait a few more days for the bigger clamp to show up i suppose unless anyone knows anywhere in South Wale that sells the clamps?

    Mismatched Exhuast Ends/Brackets

    Mismatched Exhuast Ends/Brackets
