    Chippie Run PARRRRR TAAAAY1

Bad news on the barrel... I can only get it at retail (with a small discount) 'cos it's a brewery owned pub... So it would be £300!!!   Whereas I'd love to provide it as a gift to my fellow LZers (you guys have helped me out no end with all my P38 travails) I simply can't afford...

    Chippie Run PARRRRR TAAAAY1

Me pikey wagon has an awning, so that's a bit more shelter to add... Plus I'll have mains power from an inverter, although only 600w... I've got a Bose sound dock that'll run off it, and is loud enough for a small party :) And... I'll have a word with the FIL (pub landlord ;)) who might be...

DSE -Removing viscous fan when a sharp tap just isn't enough

Hitting them how, exactly? Hitting them on the edge to kinda drive them round, or hitting them at 90 deg to the flat to 'spread' them, or something?? Sounds like a trick I could do with learning...

    Discovery 3 wheels on P38

Have you tried powering the HU up independently yet? Connect some wires to the red, yellow and black wires coming from your HU itself and see if it will power up direct from a 12v source - like direct from your battery (red & yellow connect both to 1 wire, connect this to +12v, black one to...

    16x8 Steel Modulars with 235/70-16 muds - P38 / Disco 2 fitment

It's actually 70.1mm for P38 / D2 and 72.6mm for L322. My modulars have centre bores of 72.6mm, so will fit L322 as well.

Understood... makes sense when you put it like that.

Leaving P38 Diesel with no battery for the weekend... Possible effects?

I hear everyone saying 'Don't connect a charger with battery disconnected' - but no-one seems to know WHY you can't do that....?

Leaving P38 Diesel with no battery for the weekend... Possible effects?

Cheers Wammers... actually, I was just thinking I could connect me charger before disconnecting the battery and leave it on that over the weekend... That should work, shouldn't it?

Leaving P38 Diesel with no battery for the weekend... Possible effects?

I'm thinking of swiping the P38s 130Ah battery to use in me caravan for the Chippy Run weekend, since the leisure battery in the Pikey wagon is buggered and I can't afford a new one right now :( What possible ill effects might I get from leaving the P38 battery-less for a weekend? I've had the...
