Nice work, you will get there one day (that's what I tell myself anyway lol). For future reference (too late now I know) I use jgs 4x4 to get the service kit, costs around £80 for everything,. Quick delivery aswell

That's a shame. If you can do the timing belt yourself then go for it, the seal can be replaced once the belt has been removed.

I've never replaced one before, closest thing I've done is replaced the timing belt. Depending if your handy with the tools (you will need more than just basic tools) it's not too bad, just time consuming as the timing cover will need to come off so anything in the way of that will need...

Looks to me like it's coming out of the timing cover hole, could possibly be the front crank seal. Put a wading plug in and forget about it (I'm joking, don't do that :D)

Spigot thing where the red arrow is pointing at is the cdl, if yours doesn't have this then you don't have cdl. Blue arrow is pointing to the warning light switch. It's located near the front propshaft on top of box

Agree with this, I would first check if it has cdl, previous owners could have fitted/bodged a transfer box in and not connected the warning light. My facelift d2 isn't fitted with cdl in the box. Get underneath the vehicle and have a look on the transfer box. I will look and post a picture for...
