Not 100% sure how the LR system works - will have to look at the wiring diagrams but on the Majority of the systems it looks to see if there is a suitable current flow (ie 1.5A @ 13.8 Volts for a 21W bulb) being drawn by the trailer electrics As a first step i would probably look at a earth...

Are you 100% sure it is not working? Was it working before you did the Starter Motor? Have you been in another Disco and experienced it working? If the Brakes are working and its is making the right noises ie the Actuator working then i would have thought it is working.

Have you got LED bulbs in the caravan it may not be drawing enough current to trip the trailer indicator. Can you try another Caravan?

You would at least have to swap the boot floor over as the D2 seats lock into the floor plus I think the brackets are completly different on the sides plis i don't think there is enough room as the D2 had alonger boot to cope with front facing seats

I had the same with a hairline crack in the top plastic of the Air bag near where the pipe goes in

+1 - Which is why they do not both stay on better to fit some additional driving lights with a wide angles beam

Search on here for Biodiesel and TD5 I think you will find more people say not to run it than those that do Has the similar choice when i bought my TD5 ie P38 or disco in the end went for the Td5 as it is more versatile than the P38 and almost as comfortable

Personnal View If you lean more to a road going "car" TD5 - More Refined, Less Rust Issues, However more complicated, more to go wrong and worse MPG If you lean more to Green Lanes TDI - More aftermarket Bits, Less to go wrong however less likely to have a boot floor inner wings etc.

I fited a second cigar lighter socket into the rear of the car (In the Centre Console) for the kids DVD player and games consoles etc., this is permantley feed from the Battery. If you did thgis you could then plug in the panel as well as having a useful permant live feed

Does the TC light not come on in the dash ? if not me suspects someone has been removing LED's in the dash

Not 100% sure but I think i have heard of something like this before and it was that the BCU / ECU had lost the sync / info on the vehicle and was therefore blank - needed resetting with Nanocom etc.
