    Embarrassment

Desperate wives eh! For a while we only had one car and she often asked 'can I use the car tonight?'. Yes, of course my beloved - here's a twenty. Put some diesel in, I'll be leaving before dawn in the morning.' Moments before dawn - ****, I need a garage. She would put in a quids worth and...

    Embarrassment

Low on diesel out in the country I pulled into a lay by and grabbed red the can in the boot and poured it into the D2 tank. Didn't get very far, it was petrol in the jerry. The week after I took the wife's car and saw as usual that it was very low and stopped and poured in the contents from...

Local garages here are all charging £99 but ATS is £44. It's a big difference and at almost one hundred pounds can it be justified?

    L322 handling bad winter weather

I've driven Defenders, and mostly Discos, for decades in all conditions but I have never driven a RR in snow or ice or a combination. My thoughts are that they would handle rather well but it struck me that I should ask to avoid any surprises. Advice and stories very welcome? (Bet you can't get...

Advice please - could this be a non-complex project?

Yes, good advice: it's obviously had a bit of makeover which hasn't been extended internally and maybe not underneath but I'm not going to judge until I see it.

Advice please - could this be a non-complex project?

I'm going to try and get down to look it over - and under - in the next few days. Not worried about the engine but if the underside is ok it might be worth consideration.

Disco 4 reviews by LZ owners.......any good?

Oops - I'll open the window and stop dreaming. I've been in a bit of a panic since I got an email from the lottery folk saying they'd got news for me about my ticket. £5.50 - never mind, better than a kick in the teeth. or a D2TDi :p

Disco 4 reviews by LZ owners.......any good?

Hi Gary - sorry about the back but I can see the problem - all that squirming and pulling and pushing the wishbone. I think my neighbour has surprisingly gone for a Mitsubishi. There's one outside his house at the mo, a 17 reg, so I'll keep an eye on him. It's small and not sure what model is...
