    If there is room a Stillson wrench will grip something rounded best as the way it works the harder you pull the harder it grips. I have several from a 6" tiddler to a 4'monster. Pluss one on the heat as well.

    It is usually a big rivet that holds the U bracket in place on the lower leaf.

    Can't see why not but think it would have to be the second up from bottom in pic as top two have bush eye an safety curl. Lower leaf has guide bracket riveted to it.
