    P38A Air Con Woes,nanacom

Marty, You'll be surprised how much control the becm has. The becm supplies power to the Hevac & radio, but also the blower fans etc. The alternator also returns signals back to the Hevac, then back through the becm. These becm's are very complex the way they work. We're always updating the...

Cant program transfer casing because of EHB malfunction

The transfer case can be programmed. It depends what diagnostics you have. It only takes 15 mins each side to adjust the handbrake. I've come across right screamers that only need adjusting. I haven't come across where a handbrake module has stopped any programming.of the associated models...

    Discovery 3 advice

How did you lock up the bottom pulley? I see you used drill bits on the cams.

    P38, feeling smug!

Yes, two blown blower motors? That's usually a fault within the becm not powering them. Is the radio working? Is it a genuine or aftermarket?

    help needed

You need to get a jump lead onto the starter motor live feed, & scratch up a good earth on the engine or body & leave it connected to another running vehicle for ten mins. The fobs should kick back in.

    P38A Cost of spares

These P38's will become more desirable the older they get. A future classic some say. Keep it in good condition & the value will increase. Like anything, once the amount of spares decline the prices will rise.

L322 Air Susp inactive - reset tool options

I don't think you can get a cheap suspension reset tool for the L322, because the whole system operates a can bus. Looks like you'll have to get a system for the whole vehicle. Nanocoms are good.

P38A 'CHECK ENGINE' after replacing headgaskets

What year is this range rover? Is it cranking? or is it just a click from under the seat when you crank?

    Other range rover and D3

The D3 is rigid & rugged. Goes like a bat out of hell, & as a timed served range rover owner, 29 years, from the classics to the L322, I'm afraid to say I prefer the D3. The drive is precision. As for the chassis. The D3 chassis is solid & strong, if not stronger than most medium sized trucks...

    Other range rover and D3

The disco 3 & sport have a far superior chassis to the L322. The sports & Disco 3 have two chassis bolted together, hence the weight of 3 1/2 ton.

L322 Newby needs help my 2005 4.2 Supercharged will not start

Yes, the next srep is to check the power to the starter motor. The main lead is a constant voltage 12v, & the soloniod should have 12v when key is turned to crank. This test is clear as day as to whether the SM is faulty.

    Late disco2 or early disco3

I own a D2 & a D3, & a range rover. The D2 is more like a tractor. The D3 is a lot more refined drive, & I prefer the drive of the D3 to the L322 range rover. There's no comparision that can be made between the D2 & D3 because they're completely different vehicle. The D3 is a range rover sport...

L322 Newby needs help my 2005 4.2 Supercharged will not start

Is the engine cranking? Or no crank on position 3? Do the dash lights illuminate as normal? If so, it could be the main fuse thats on the positive battery terminal itself.

Turn key nothing apart from a ticking sound

    P38 Fuse 6, 7 and 17 HELP!

The problem with this failure is that it can also restrict power to other ecu's. Ignore all faults until this is sorted. Everything will probably be back to normal once done. Contact me through [email protected] & we'll explain what we need.

    P38A Thor 4ltr meltdown

I reaken all the damage has been done. The damage occurs in one hit. You can replace parts & see if it helps.

    P38A Thor 4ltr meltdown

Yep. Sounds like it's fried the engine ecu. When these fuse box's let go they usually take the other ecu's out with it. Hopefully it's just the engine ecu it's cooked.
