Thanks. Neil hadn’t had the CV in bits as I haven’t had one go before. I know it had 10 spline half shafts but gif some reason the cv is different and had 23 or33. Confusing or what

So if no one knows the answer to this how do I find out. Does it have a number on it if I crawl underneath :D.

Anyone know whether I need a 23 or 33 spline cV for my Defender. Parts place don’t seem to know although I think they should. It’s a pretty much original 200 tdi with 10 spline diff or perhaps half shafts :D. 1991 reg. thanks.

See I thought this thread was for Freelander ers to give them an excuse to mix with the proper Land Rover owners. I suppose the Range Rover owners might feel the same.

Has anyone ever replaced a 6 bolt steering box in a Defender with a 4 bolt box and was it successful

I'm doing a trip round the Lakes on Sunday if anyone wants to come It won't be non scratchy or planned for newbies. I just want a fun stress free day out without worrying about anyone else's vehicle or driving ability LOL
