Pressure switch requires no bleeding of brakes or any other brake function : read my "how to" with pics. I suggest you contact Emmots, our sponsor and ask Joe if he has a pressure switch : ask him to check it before sending out : you can get another duffer which sends you off on wrong tracks...

Just as part of general improvement I was thinking of replacing my shock absorbers. ( Have never done so before : surpised to see amazing differences in cost ranging from £50 per unit to £85 per ser of 4 ( Island 4 x 4 Britpart.) Any advice on what to get and any probs replacing ?

Just ongoing report : I think I reported that journey home on the day of the fault was faultless . Despite events I took her back out again today for a round trip of 100 miles or so. Behaved impeccably in both directions ! :D

Thanks dave : I'll check the levels as suggested by Datatek but would be surprised if levels are below acceptable. Your diagnosis would fit the facts :I did not turn off after fault logged. On next turn on later in the day it had cleared.
