DON'T BIN IT : take the pressure switrch off the bottom end : check the pump motor for running off the vehicle (from memory earth + black/green wire but check my thread on this about three years ago.) I think I have a functioning pump minus a pressure switch or with a duff switch. I'll need to...

I was going to do that this morning but when I got underneath I couldn't access the route of the old line very easily so just nosed around and found the second straight connector. Does Rave have a diagram of the routing or is it just a common sense following the existing trunking ?

I removed all but one of the fixings and dropped it : frankly with it down you still have pretty limited visibility. Before you start I would advise buying (they're pennies) a bunch of the plastic pins for refitting : I tore mine to bits getting them out and am still sticking any pin I can lay...

I replaced the rear bags, the compressor and exhaust diaphragm but was still having a minor but annoying leak. Checked the bags with care today : when I installed the new rear bags I inserted a straight line connector with a little extra length to the bag to make the job easier. What I had...

The piston seal is teflon & brittlish.....the crud was definitely like a piece of string. I examined it and the old diaphragm to see if it could possibly be a shredded edge: definitely not. The system is operating differently from what it has done for years.

That's what I took out : some sign of uneven wear at one side which might be attributable to the piece of crud I founf in there.

New daiphragm arrived today : fitted ( did not strip the rest of the block) :left door open about 7 mins and mighty cheer as suspension went up !! Thanks a million again. A couple of spin offs :(i) the new diaphragm was completely different from the one which came out so much so that I phoned...

The white crusting emerged from the studs :it moved around when I was fiddling around with it. Thanks for your interest & your input. I'll report back when I get it back together.
