disco 1 boiled over trying to help yellow90

Well keeping the heater on has kept her cool. To be honest I think we have a combination of duff fan, duff rad and poor water pump. So I'm going to change the lot. Finished journey now so only way back to do and for that if she boils again it's recovery truck time.

disco 1 boiled over trying to help yellow90

All was going so well and now I'm sitting at the side of the road with another boiRedl over. Once again temp gauge didn't rise. I think I've found the culprit though my radiator is badly damaged and has a lot of missing fins. She might drive home but not without the heater on full blast oh and...

disco 1 boiled over trying to help yellow90

After its little hickup let it cool down, put a whole 7 pints of water in the radiator and its been fine for about 50 odd miles since and 3 or 4 hours running. No loss of coolant whatsoever in that time either. This cars just weird!

    Feedback about event please

The location was good , yes of course id have liked it to be in Wales but who wouldn't want it closer to home. At the end of the day Stanford Hall was pretty much central to the UK with good connections in my view making it an ideal venue. If people can't do the trip themselves then why not...

    Feedback about event please

Well I suppose I should add something here. For me the weekend was very good and most enjoyable there are a few things id like to see next year but there absence certainlly didn't make the event much less enjoyable. 1. More toys, what about people try and make a little engineering project for...

    Different sized tyres

205/80 or 235/75 is standard size for a disco. Actual rolling radius between those two sizes is negligable. If it is indeed fitted with 205/75 then thats a fair difference in rolling radius and also your speedo will be over reading due to smaller rolling radius that intended unless its been...

My first Land Rover - tow car!

Hi nice disco I wish my auto one was as good! I did my trailer test a couple of months back and to be honest its not too bad, listen to the instructor and just drive sensibly and you shouldn't have a problem. They expect your driving standard to be at car test standard nothing more.

Thanks very much im used to photographing cars but first attempt at taking pics of a moving vehicle from a moving vehicle. Pauldafs laning and pay and play photo report.

And onto yesterday. 4 cars decided they were going down to a nearby pay and play before taking the trip home so I jumped in one to get some photos. It was only after that we realised why only 4 had gone. 3 out 4 suffered damage that had to be repaired before they could be driven home and one of...

Pauldafs laning and pay and play photo report.

Now if I do say so myself I love that picture! This last lane had a few good puddles in it which when your in a Landy well you have to play. After the last lane just as we were heading for base we spotted a fuel stop and seeing as a few of us were running a touch low by then we decided...
