Mine's just straight through with no box. It sounds ok on short journey's but if you're travelling some distance the sound can get a bit annoying as Goody8 says.

Buy a alloy tax disc holder, that's what I've used for mine.

I used 2 bottles of the Lucas stuff after my box started dripping. Seemed to work for a few weeks and then the box just emptied all over the road and I ended up buying a recon one. I think that once they start leaking you're better off changing the box rather than spending money on something...

You'd be better off buying a good "used" box as you'll never recoup the cost of the recon one.

Capri's are great for letting the back end go when cornering. I had some "fun" experiances when I had one. Just by a Landy, you'll never be able to go fast enough to get into trouble.

You could have just replaced the O ring. Would have been a bit cheaper than buying a new breather.

I bought a sew on one from "customsteering" a Ebay trader for my 200Tdi, they do 300Tdi one's. Cost me about £15.00 but I'm very pleased with it. Fits well and after 15 months of daily use it's still fine.
