Removing the window frame is pretty easy. It's definitely doable on your own. Just make sure you've got a torx bit for undoing the bolts holding the hinges to the door and A post.

Did mine a few weeks ago in matt black (was black before) with brush and roller. Finish is not great but I haven't flatted it back at all yet.

I made front mounts (the ones by the radiator) using bits of 2mm and 4mm sheet. Main problem was drilling/filing, whacking with a ball peen hammer, the hole. If I'd had the money I'd have bought YRM ones to save the hassle.

Fitted new in fuel/sender unit. Seems to run a bit better now without all the air being sucked in through the rusted pipes.
