200 or 300 tdi, does not matter, the bulb on the dashboard is the same, just like the wires. It is just straight forward, turn on your contact just before your start and the light on the dashboard should burn.

P.s. When you put your contact “ON” you should have on one wire (the thin one) a little less than +12 volt, the rotor and the dashboard charging light are in serie. When the rotor has a magnetic field after the engine is started it will be 12 volt (13,6v up to 14.8v I think)

Okay, I am not into Santana but I do like them. Also some of them are called a Series 4. The 2.5na are used in the first defenders. In the link above, look for the Defender 90 & 110 workshop… part 1-5 But there are a lot of youtube tutorials

The series did not have the 2.5na, the first ninety (not 90) and one-ten (not 110] had an 2.5na. That is one of the the best engine there is for a series and also I enjoyed it in my RHD Ninety! Look here for manuals Cheers Rob
