Series does not have front disk brakes so that should not be a reason?!? But what part does not fit? Is it possible that the break pipe from the caliper to the hose is “handmade”? Part 8 and 9?

A positive thing in my configuration with the LT230: I can use the fourth gear in the mountains while towing my caravan and stay in front of the “big-boy’s of the highway”. The fifth is more like the old fashion overdrive.

I have in my Series 2 109 with ninety axles (without the boingy springs) a 300tdi lt77 and a LT230. Firts question, what tires do you use? I have the 235/85R16 firts I had a 1.6 ratio LT230 that was strong but fast? Noway! Second a 1.4 ratio, that is much better. But could still start in second...

A disco 300tdi turbo isn’t on the same place like the defender 300tdi… so the exhaust for one would not be a straight swap.

Mmm, I’m not sure why it doesn’t come out. ⁉️ While rebuilding my LT230 I was thinking, it is possible to replace the mentioned bearings from the outside. So, here page 2 (15 from 83)… no clip on the inside. It should come right out :rolleyes...

I had them in my ninety and now in my S2 (with defender seats and 300tdi) with these seat covers https://www.paddockspares.com/awr5701rpi-cover-cushion-twill.html The seat and your back are getting warm before the car heater is producing any kind of warmth. I only use the low setting.

You can disconnect the seat and the back separately. For each seat is one switch with high and low (and of) you have to build in. I love theme This set is for one seat

If it smokes the smoke is dark, but I can hardly say it is using “oil” and no cooling water. That is already this way over a 100k, I bought the engine with 160k (kilometers) on the klok. But the inside of the hoses to and from the turbo are covered with oil.

Okay, a few other things… The front prop shaft is wide angle custom made (why?) , are the 2 u-joints straight or 45degrees turned from each other? If you take off your front prop shaft you can try feeling on the flanges (diff and transferbox side) if there is any play. Oil leaking of the seal...
