Are you sure it's an electrical fault? All the probs I've had with my and RRC and current Disco windows have all been mechanical. Scissor mechanism, motor drive on the big coggy like bit etc. Pull the door cards off and make sure everything is running freely and the glass is not jamming

Stuff a bottle of K-Seal in it (about a tenner) and see if that fixes it. Did that with my old Ford Explorer (4.0 litre V6) and it ran or years after without a problem. If that don't work you're well stuffed.

The big advantage is that you can use it while driving and it is perfectly legal. You can end up in trouble if plod catches you using a mobile.
