Could be a wading plug but that looks suspiciously clean on the inside.

Welcome to the forum... Read the workshop manual... New headlight bulbs.... I trundled 3000 miles around Europe with spare bulbs, weeks later the headlight failed and realised they were old school sealed beam units. Amazed at the modern replacement for additional light.

Get weight on it surely and the wheels on and it will settle. I just did a chassis swap on another car and when it went together the UCA was touching the coil spring... I had no clue what I had done wrong so left it to the end. By which time it had settled and is now well clear. Don't torque...

It is easy but I wouldn't buy it again, I sprayed landy one little spot on the rear crossmember and there is no sign of it now.... Looks just the same and it hasn't moved in the shed since it was sprayed. Likewise I sprayed another cars chassis and filled it with it... it was tacky for a while...

You bought a noo one thats the issue. Towing what ? Have you towed said item with something else with no issue ? How does the towball attach ? Option 1 - Its the Trailer Option 2 - Its the towball not attached right Option 3- Its the bracket it attaches to not attached right.

Keep in mind the bigger it is the more liquid is needed to cover the item..... The liquid is fairly pricey stuff.
