Nope, I purchased about 8 bottles of that one I linked and have used 2... saw no need to deviate. I wouldn't OTT on the fluid its the ultrasonicness which is doing the work.

Works well no issues. As long as your nuts fit into it shouldnt be a problem. Its small but I have only used it on a handful of things. Cleaned my calipers up a treat.

North Yorkshire lass needs help with Freelander 2 turbo - please!

Wicked... this is such amazing news..... never happier hearing how someone saved money. I don't doubt the other garages, skills and abilities vary and a lot of the time go for the big ticket item is easier than step by step diagnosis. I think knowing that a turbo shouldn't just fail helps with...

North Yorkshire lass needs help with Freelander 2 turbo - please!

Great news, keep us posted, hopefully they will get to the bottom of it....I remember the sick feeling in our stomachs when we drove away with a new turbo and less than 1/2 a mile limp mode again kicked in. Luckily the pipe was £150 so not too bad but heart breaking to think of the wasted money.

North Yorkshire lass needs help with Freelander 2 turbo - please!

check pipework . we had this and spent .2.5k on turbo from a third party mechanic as dealer quote was 4k. to leave and then have same fault appear again. Upon closer inspection the turbo was fine but a pipe into it was split and causing loss of pressure when under load. The main dealer...

Welding & Rust - any willing participants (pictures)?

Most garages don't weld now.... the get someone else in to do it. Like most have said, practice makes perfect, I remember practicing on steel petfood cans. Get in and do it, it will only get better, as long as you watch videos to get an idea of what to look for.. Best advice is preparation...

Any diesel injector experts on here?

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/injectors-diy-refurbishing.325624/ Above FYI. No idea on the report... .tbh I would expect the expert who charged you for the report to tell you if you need to replace them and the usual "what would you do ? "

Any diesel injector experts on here?

You wouldn't do it yourself anyway, its complex and needs testing. Any injection chap will have the nozzles. Once fitted they need testing at very high pressure. Your only worry would be getting them out which is simple enough.

Any diesel injector experts on here?

You dont need to replace them, you can recondition them and swap the nozzles for 150 ish. A lot cheaper than true new injectors. I did the same about 8 years ago.

    Vehicle purchase not as described?

None of this matters, It wasn't leaking when it left.. My 200TDI passed the MOT then as he backed it off the ramps the brake pipes burst on one side. Cost me £200 for him to re-do them. Far from ideal but as he says it looked ok and when its going to go it will go.
