So was yours second hand I've been down that route before think I want it reconditioned or new but see ones on eBay a lot cheaper than Garrett not sure on quality though.

Think my turbo is on its last legs wobbling a little to much. My question is where is the best place to buy 1 or do I try and replace the cartridge myself is it hard or not?

Had a good day out with @Marmaduke today strata happy valley which was really good. Got a bit held up on strata by well let the pics explain preper to slobber lads as classic land rover where out on a photo shoot today with some nice landies. Oh and are to very modern Landis's hahaha lol

Yeah I know its not good for you. I bought the best mask I could buy and it was great especially just for a 1 off job.

I wouldn't think it was that bad I done mine in a gazebo and nobody complained or died.

2k was really easy. The hard work is the prep. I bought the paint off eBay.

I done mine myself outside 2 years ago with my own compressor must agree prep is key. And if you scratch it offroading then you can fix yourself.

I've got a fully aluminium 1 as I wanted it to match the fully aluminium uprated intercooler I have on mine works a treat no problems so far and keeps it really cool.

I had to do the exact same thing aswell with @johnlad today aswell as changing the transfer box aswell. was a complete nightmare but all done now I to am a bit gassed out with the smell of burning rubber.

No need to ask my wife I wanted 1 so I got 1. It is purely a boys toy and the odd time I tow the horse trailer with it and obviously go off roading in it.

Thanks very much think I've found them on eBay for about £35 so a fair price.
