If your lucky the shaft with the splines on is still ok, and that the splines in the drive flange are buggered, if so, clean it all up and buy a new drive flange, it would be worth looking at all the other flanges, at least the other one on the same axle as theory says it will be pretty equally...

Do you mean oil coming from the engine somehwere? Do you have any tools? If you have little rubber caps in the centre of wheels, prise them off (only pushed onto a lip), and look to see if the splines look ok, if 1 has gone it will all look a bit chewed up, then if you have a socket undo the 5...

Wil are you thinking about the 200tdi's? The turbo set up is certainly different between defender and disco with the 200's. But as said above, 300's are the same on both models

The tensioner and idler both have to have no lips now you have a lip on the crank

Are all the bleed nipples at the uppermost postion on each caliper

Make sure bleed nipples are positioned at top of each caliper

Hi Andy, so you couldn't find a sendor to suit either, does your sender have the course thread, or the tapered thread? Julian - I would have said it was about 5/8 size without going and measuring it, and about 18 tpi too I'll put up a couple of pictures tomorrow Cheers everyone
