I think there are master splines in the arm and on the output of the box, think theres 2 master splines 180 degrees apart so possibly would go on 180 degrees out but is obviously not this

I would recommend ordering the ball joint already pressed into a new fulcrum bracket, as if your paying someone to replace the ball joint for you, said person will be out to lynch you after potentially quoting say... £100 to change it, and not realising how difficult it can be to get them out...

No need for jacking up, if the splines on the other corners are anything other than like new they'll pretty quickly go the same way, when they start to get sloppy they'll wear faster and faster
