Grab hold of your engine standing at the side of your car and shake it like f**k, if it moves about a lot then they need changing, if it doesn't then are they fine or are you not shaking it hard enough? nobody will know?

Bleed it and see if it improves, or pump the pedal a couple of times and see if the bite point comes up a bit

When doing non standard power steering mods to any car, if they are powering the coloumn the same loads are still being put into the rack/box, even when your sat in the cab smiling turning the wheel with one finger, don't forget this when your driving

No as the bell housings are different lengths - probably. Measure the length of yours and compare it to the r380, the r380 main casing is a bit different so measure the length of the whole gearbox, there are two lengths of r380 but the one that will fit are rare as hell, why is the 300 a non...
