I’m just putting a cummins engine in mine, god knows how many miles thats done but the engine was sold as lorry had got too rusty so I imagine many many miles, cant prove any numbers though

After a 3.54 crownwheel and pinion for a disc type salisbury axle, either new, NOS or good second hand, ashcroft don’t seem to list them, willing to collect if people aren’t happy to post if not too far away

A dribble of brake fluid does a lot of good, don’t do too much though!

Like above, biggest you can fit in box, with the highest AH and CCA numbers, I’m gonna be buy a varta with 920CCA soon for my project, that and 50mm^2 cable she should start fine

Fair, it’s frustrating when it’s a work thing and not your own decision, always feel like saying told you so when it inevitably goes wrong in the near future

Has any damage been done by the prop being loose? Considering you said it was a long term problem

Should have wrapped it round the exhaust will warm up quicker

Dont suppose theres any other bits your looking for? got a lot of 300 and landy 90 stuff for sale, a 300 engine, removed to do cummins conversion, ashcroft stubby r380 gearbox, disco r380 gearbox plus more

It just struck me that quite a lot of contact with the company about your standard bolts being too short was a bit excessive. Personally I’d have just cursed them, and then sorted out the problem myself

Was it sold to you with bolts? Does it promise you you’ll have everything you need? Did it give you sockets to fit it?

Stop being a fanny and just buy some M10/12 high tensile bolts of whatever length you need?
