    Worst tool you've ever bought?

I bought an al-ko lawnmower. I've had it 13 years without a fault. The deck has started to rot now but that's down to my non end of season cleaning ritual.

    Electrical nightmare

To be honest, 36 year old wire, even undamaged, will have brittle insulation and easily break down. Apart from a voltage drop, could catch fire then ots bye bye 90. I also have a 200tdi in a 110 and the wiring is terrible. I've had smoke and melted wires twice but manage to stop a full blown...

    Battery drain

Just because it looks new doesn't mean it's working properly. You can get bad ones out of the box. Take it off and get it checked/ overhauled properly.

Dinitrol application - what am I doing wrong?

Looks like I'm not alone. I bought the dinitrol tins and the spray attachment with the long tube for the chassis all together. It worked great straight off the bat and I cleaned everything spotlessly after. When I came to reapply some more at a later date, I could not get it to work. Like you...

    Nice defender.

I got chatting to a bloke at south mimms service station ( I don't make a habit of that ) who had a beautiful 90. It had just had a mustang v8 fitted and all blinged up by nene overland. Don't know if he's on here, didn't get time to ask , but it was a beauty.
