As you said the top link is tapered and a sharp whack with a hammer should remove it. Don't know why it's being that stubborn.

It's a spacer and will probably come loose when you remove the lp. May aswell clean it and refit with a paper gasket.

If you have a good alarm, it doesn't matter how they gain access.

I had some galvanised sheet on the shelf so thought I'd knock up a couple of these.

Although the calipers are new, one could be sticking or not travelling as far as the other. I'd drive around a bit more before doing anything just yet.

Checked and lubricated all bushes. Will check all panel, floor fixings today to see if any are loose. Could be all the amazing torque I'm getting is flexing the panels :rolleyes::rolleyes::)
