    Rusty half shafts?

Good call. Took off banjo and completely blocked. Took out short shaft and no rust. The inside of the axle tube on the breather side has a lot of rust on it. Also had to order 2 new stub axles because of scoring and pitting. Turning out a bit expensive this oil seal.:(

    Rusty half shafts?

I dont go on very long trips to be fair. Average 15km daily with the occasional 60km fishing trip. I,ll check the breather for blockages or tightness. I,ll know more when i pull the other drive shaft and see if that has rust. Thanks for your inputs lads and i,ll update when ive had a look.

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Changed the front drive flanges. Went on to do the rear flanges and half shafts to find rust in the middle of the shaft. Very strange. I'll have to change the bearings and races now as they're pitted.

Strip down and rebuild into the ultimate Overlander.

When i finished my rebuild, although not in the same league as yours, it was cleaned and painted to within an inch of its life underneath. Alas, a few years down the road, it looks like any other country 4x4. The axles, trailing arms chassis all have rust coming through again. Unless you galv...

Oil seal decided to **** itself. Luckily had new corteco oil seals and new drive flanges. Fixed that but no neare finding cause...

Opened the bonnet to check voltage to glow plugs. Too f##king hot to be messing with it so walked away

    Heater plug light.

Put a test lamp on the glow plug lead and it didn't go out while engine was running. Might just disconnect the feed. Don't really need them at the moment.
