What have you done to your Freelander today

Agreed, GG. I went for it just to transfer the working 4wd components, 16"wheels, much better tyres, better driver's SEAT, rear parcel shelf, toolbox and a few other 'bits' n'bobs" over to my first FL1 that's running in 2wd-mode. If that's all I end up doing, I think it'll be well worth £310 and...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Went to Castleford with my friend David from the Shipyard. He then sat in non-starter 2001 Freelander TD4 with manual box, whilst I towed it back home to Beverley in my 2wd FL1 TD4. Well impressed - surprisingly so - with the towing ability. Since Christmas Day morning, I've done more 425+ miles...

    HELP door latch

Nice one, John! I advertised the Citroën C2 on Faceache's Marketplace Thursday night. A guy from South Elmsall took 3 trains to Beverley and bought it yesterday lunchtime. £350 profit made on it! Have a WONDERFUL Christmas, matey!

What have you done to your Freelander today

In my recently valeted FL1, I have mainly today been getting changed out of my damp trousers, as they're getting soaked still after the driver's seat being thoroughly shampoo'd! Tomorrow I'll have to brim the diesel tank in readiness for travelling to my Christmas lunch with my family between...

What have you done to your Freelander today

I had both the Freelander AND the Citroën C2 fully valeted yesterday. The guy spent four hours getting them both spectacularly spick and span... Today, I have mainly - and repeatedly - been removing water from all windows with my K'Archer window vac. It's emanating from the shapoo'd carpets and...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Quite likely tendon or similar problem Kermit. Commiserations...I badly sprained my right wrist in the spring. Hospital gave me a splint to keep it in for 6-8 weeks. It's still problematic if I use any twisting or rotation with it...a total pain in the arse

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I had it on my 2005 A8. It was owned by AUDI management from new and came loaded with many "toys". I bought it with only 4000 miles on it. I quite liked the keyless entry...but that was before the crooks discovered it was an easy way to steal such cars...

    Freelander 1 245 too wide?

Thanks for input Gel...guys too! I figured they'd be too large and there's no way I'd put spacers on. :)

    Freelander 1 245 too wide?

My recently PURCHASED, 2002 FL GS Auto TD4 currently wears 205 70 15 's. Are 245 70 15's too wide to contemplate as replacements? Been offered some with more tread on than current tyres. No point buying if there'll be significant rubbing issues. I've ordered both an Owners Handbook AND Haynes...

    Freelander 1 Lights fitment

No handbook with the car Nodge, but I have a "Haynes" manual en-route in the back of a Postman Pat van somewhere... Thanks for those golden nuggets of information! H4's are the main priority. When I replaced the P38's headlight bulbs, it simply tansformed driving on dipped beams at...
