has anyone else had this and how do you stop it? The breather isn't blocked but it isn't held in very secure and nearly comes out on the motorway soaking everything in diff oil. I've two thoughts, zip ties or some kind of instrument fitting screwed in.

I think its because the turbo waste gate is shut as the boost pressure will be higher, the turbo has a silencing effect and the waste gate opening makes the motor louder. So at say 60 mph it might have been making 16 psi boost with the waste hate opening slightly. Now it might be set for 20 psi...

I would redo the seals again. I did mine and id not done a good enough job the 1st time. whilst the injectors are out you could examine the pockets for signs of damage and cracking. Some people have had them welded up and had no problems

mine was caused by the throttle map switch contacts on the transfer box. When wet it must have been opening and closing and switching between maps. It took me 2yrs to find it! if the oil is going up do the injector seals 1st.

I've done the driver side rear and passanger front on my td5 and binned the spacers. When I do the other two I'm going to make them adjustable too
