it's probably because I've also got a bilge blower in the inlet to my heater. It makes it blow like a normal car but over cools the motor with it off it keeps its temperature but the fan is feeble.

I did as above, but ive also fitted a bilge blower into the inlet of the original heater and run the two in series and it's miles better. I've used silver foil tape to seal up gaps and any ones anywhere else got a helping hand with expanding foam. Mine is great now

I must be the luckiest person in the world. I usually try not to buy britpart, but if needs must as I use the landy every day and sometimes have to fix it there and then, and I that case I will use them. However in nearly 30k miles I've not had any single britpart ive had to fit fail on me.

does the sliding window stop that horrible cold draft by your knees that the normal defender window does when cracked slightly?? I like driving with the window cracked but can't stand the draft on my right knee. So much so I was thinking about some kind of wind deflector

a big gain is to be had by sealing as many drafts as possible, adjusting the heater to the best it can be and insulating the landy as best as possible. I have done all the above to mine and the difference is vast

if you do need one, order the air bleed valve and take the inside bit out. I had to do the same after finding a crack in mine
