Kev..... that would have been good, but tis all in. The welding is shyte though, wind kept blowing gas away and ending up with porous welds. Took me all day to put these two patches in. Grind back, weld, grind back , weld. There are still a few pin holes, but that’s what sealer is for !!! I...

Other side welded in. Gave a coat of red coz it’s going to rain over weekend.

Hi Scottish, They do test us, don’t they ? First bit welded in before lunch. Bugger to do.....windy, blowing holes, turn it down, not hot enough, turn it up, etc etc etc.

Auf Weidersein has a great thread going on his Disco, he put replacement seats in his. If I remember he bolted the new seats onto a 5mm sheet of aluminium and then bolted the aluminium sheet onto the Disco mounts......or something like that.

I’m keeping it. We got it so we could chuck our bikes in the back and bugger off for cycling hols. Im doing it up outside my mums........I don’t think I’ll be allowed to do another one !!!! ☹️

I’ve used Frost & Bilt Hamber, both good products, though I think I prefer the Frost one, seem to spread a bit easier.

And it was going so well........ Stubby on. Brake disc on. Both bearings on. Oil seals on. Half shaft on. Brake calliper - nil points. It appears the brake callipers I bought and painted are the wrong ones !! Bolt holes too small !!!! Fekkitty fek fek fek !!!!!!

Well, bugger all nothing done today. Actually, that’s not true. Was going to fit stub axle etc etc. Cleaned out stub and brake calliper bolt holes. Found all the parts that were secreted around the garage......... Bolts that I thought were the stub bolts were the wrong pitch !!!! Had a ‘wet...

Yes they are bearmach. Though It seems to be a bit higher with it fitted...... mind you I haven’t had anything on there for a few months. ........ got loads to do yet :(
